Q: What kind of services do you provide?

We have the functionalities like Multi wallet and lots more. All of these services are simple and quick so that anyone can set up easily and start doing business and accepting social payments within a minute.

Q: Do you have a physical branch??

No. We do not have a physical branch, however if you’re interested in visiting us and want to confirm, you can visit our office address.

Q: How much do you charge for API services?

Q: What are the conditions required for getting verified?

Please visit our verification center on your account profile to see the requirements.

Q: What is a Cashback wallet?

Cashback wallet is an incentive program where a percentage of the amount you spent on Sendam is paid back to you. You can withdraw from your Cashback anytime you want. That's Us telling you thank you for using and trusting us.

Q: Are Transaction receipts stored on SendAm server?

SendAm does not store users transaction history or receipts. You have the power to delete any transaction posted on your timeline your self.

Q: Must i verify my account before i withdraw?


Q: When do I receive my payment after withdrawal?

Withdrawal takes 1 business working business day for all except for PayPal which can take between 24 to 72 hours.

Q: How do i fund my account with PayPal or receive PayPal through Sendam?

Login to your account. Make sure that you use an active phone number because it will be configured to your OTP. Click on WALLET ---> Select FUND ---> ENTER AMOUNT ---> Select PayPal ---> A PayPal email will be displayed to you. Send your funds to it or issue it to your friend to send payment to you using it. This email can not be stored for a long time. Its temporary.

Q: How long does it take to get my funded approved?

It takes within 30 minutes to get your wallet payment approved. However if your payment goes on hold on PayPal, we will chat you to inform you. In this case your account will be funded but withdrawal wont be approved until payment is released on PayPal.

Q: Do you have any affiliation program?

Yes! Every user has unique referral link. You can share it to earn commission from the Sendam revenue (Transaction fees) After successful transaction being completed by customers who are directed to SendAm through their website. Get a merchant account to enjoy these services.

Q: What is the maximum and minimum funding amount?

There is no limit to the amount of credits you can receive. You can fund as much as you like. There is no limit.

Q: Can I also fund my account with PayPal and get it as CRYPTO in my wallet?

Yes you can but incase you cant see cryptocurrency during withdrawal, please go to your profile and change your country. We are working with countries policy for each product.

Q: Why do you need my BVN ?

We use your BVN to verify your identity. When you enter your BVN, the only data we are able to retrieve is your name, date of birth and the mobile phone number attached to your BVN. We do not have access to any of your bank accounts, transaction history or other sensitive financial data.

Q: Can i delete my account?

You can delete your account in your account settings and this is permanent.

Q: Why cant i receive SMS OTP?

Maybe your phone number is wrong. Please contact admin using the chat feature to check that out for you and also present an identity document before this change is made.

Q: I’ve been asked for more information about my business ?

As part of our KYC, we need to know as much detail as possible about your business and the products and services you offer.

Q: How old is SendAm?

SendAm was launched on July 1, 2021. The code base was built by numerous independent developers.

Q: How do I create and send invoice?

If you are a merchant and want to send an Invoice to your vendor then, it’s a simple functionality. On the merchant dashboard page you will find an Invoice tab just beneath Referral tab. *click on the Invoice tab. On the Invoice page you will see New tab on the right side at the top *click on it. New page will open where you find several of options fill it appropriately. and send it to your vendor.

Q: Which devices can I use?

You can use SendAm on smartphones, tablets, and even computers. We have apps for iOS and Android, a native macOS app and a universal desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux. SendAm Web can also help to quickly do something on the go.

You can log in to SendAm from as many of your devices as you like — all at the same time.

Q: Where is SendAm based?

Most of the developers behind SendAm originally come from Nigeria.

Q: How we handle identity verification?

SendAm will NEVER send you email asking you to verify your identity.

In the SendAm app,Open “Settings,” and then tap “Account.” Then tap “Verification”. On-screen prompts will guide you through the process.

Typically, the identity verification process only takes a few minutes. Sometimes, we’ll ask you to send us documentation in the app that confirms your identity.

This document review process usually takes our team 1 business day.

You can only perform verification in the SendAm platform.

Q: How can i hide my transaction history?

Verify your account to enjoy hidden transaction firewall.

By default all un-verified accounts transaction are displayed publicly.

Q: Why do we verify identity?

The short version: This allows you to continue making payments using the money in your SendAm account.

The long version: SendAm is required by law to collect certain information from all its users that have access to a balance once they reach a certain transaction limit. If we’re unable to verify your identity after a certain amount of transaction is performed on your account, We won’t be able to allow you fund your balance for making payments. You’ll still be able to receive payments and transfer the money you receive out to a bank account but cant fund. You’ll also still be able to make payments to others using a linked debit card, credit card, or bank account. You just won’t be able to add money to your SendAm account using PayPal.

Q: How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your SendAm account by clicking “Delete Account” at the bottom of your Settings / Account section when logged in to your account

Q: How do I make my payments private?

Privacy is a big concern with technology. We put you in control so that you can decide who can see your SendAm payments and withdrawals.

When a payment is shared, other people will be able to see the payment note, names of sender/recipient, and amount. ONLY the sender group of friends or who you gave your handle have access to this.

Q: How to protect your account

Security is a big concern with technology.

Nobody at SendAm will ever contact you to request a password or verification code to your account. If you have any questions or concerns about security, send us an email.

SendAm is designed for payments between friends and people who trust each other. Avoid payments to people you don't know, especially if it involves a sale for goods and services.

Always turn on 2-step login to level-up your account's security, Once turned on, you'll use both your password and a 6-digit security code sent to your phone or email to log in.

We use encryption to help protect your account details and store that information on servers in secure locations. On the web, “https:” and a lock next to the web address is your signal that encryption is on.

Q: How to unfreeze a blocked account

If your account has been temporarily frozen due to a fraud related issues, please contact us on how to unfreeze it.

In an effort to provide the highest level of security and protect users, we may freeze a user's account, and/or request certain documentation if flags are raised due to account activity that seems to be against our User Agreement or widely accepted credit card policies.

At this time it is not possible for you to unfreeze your account on your own, and we can only assist via email. Please contact us for more information.

Q: Can I use SendAm to buy or sell merchandise, goods, or services?

SendAm may NOT otherwise be used to receive business, commercial or merchant transactions, meaning you CANNOT use SendAm to accept payment from (or send payment to) another user for a good or service, unless explicitly authorized by SendAm.

You may be able to work with SendAm to integrate our API as a checkout option in your organization’s app or website for this cause.


If you send a SendAm payment to an unauthorized business profile or another individual for a good or service, you could lose your money without ever getting what you paid for.

Q: Can I use SendAm to collect donations for my non-profit or otherwise?

Q: Can I cancel a sent payment to a SendAm user?

It is not possible to cancel a payment to an existing SendAm account. Once you send a payment, the funds are available to the recipient right away. If you need the payment returned, please have the recipient send you a payment for the same amount. Upon return, you can transfer those funds from your SendAm account to your bank account. If you accidentally pay your friend twice or made a duplicate payment, have the recipient pay you back for one of the payments.

Q: I want to cancel a payment I received?

There’s no way to cancel a payment you’ve received. Instead, you can pay the other person back.

Q: What are my payment Limits?

SendAm has spending limits specific to person-to-person payments. If you have not yet completed identity verification, you will have a lower weekly spending limit of $200. If exceeded, your funds will be seized until you verify your identity with us.

If you have completed identity verification, your combined weekly spending limit is unlimited.

This limit includes person-to-person payments and payments to authorized merchants.

Q: A stranger paid me. What should I do?

If you receive a payment from a name you don’t recognize, you can simply send the payment back to that user with a note explaining that they paid the wrong person.

Q: I didn’t receive a payment I’m expecting, or I sent a payment and the person I paid didn’t get it

Each SendAm user involved in a payment can usually verify that the payment was successful if the payment appears in their personal transactions feed.

The fastest way to get a refund is to have your friend send you a payment for the same amount. Keep in mind our Support team won’t be able to reverse the payment for you unless the money is still in your friend’s account, their account is in good standing, and they reach out to us directly with permission.

Q: What is my SendTag

  • A blue verification badge next to a $Sendtag means SendAm has confirmed that an account is the authentic presence of the public figure, celebrity, or global brand it represents.
  • Q: How to register a PayPal Account

    Step #1.

  • Go to the site - Paypal.com
  • Click Sign up.
  • Step #2.

  • Choose "Personal Account"
  • Click "Next".
  • Step #3.

  • Fullfill the registration form, all 5 fields.
  • Click "Next".
  • Activate your account with your email.
  • Step #4.

  • Log in to Paypal account.
  • Step #5.

  • Go to your account settings.
  • Step #6

  • Click "Link a card".
  • Step #7.

  • Add your card information.
  • Step #8.

    • Your card was just added.
    • Now you can pay for the services with Paypal.
    • Q: Instructions for sending a payment in the PayPal system:

    • Click on the "Money transfers" link.
    • Select the "Send to friends and family"
    • In the "Email address" field, enter the PayPal account that we will tell you .
    • Click the "Next" button.
    • Enter the amount.
    • Chosen currency.
    • You need to check whether the correct currency is specified, and if not, manually change the currency in which you need to send it.
    • In the "Message for translation" field, you do not need to write anything.
    • Select the delivery Address as "no address Required".
